Post Malone and Luke Combs’ long-awaited new single, “Guy For That,” has finally arrived and it does not disappoint.

Following much anticipation and several teaser clips that garnered millions of views on social media, the song officially premiered on Friday, July 26, just weeks ahead of the release of Post Malone’s debut country album, F-1 Trillion.

Written by Post Malone (Austin Post), Charlie Handsome, ERNEST (Ernest K. Smith), Hoskins, James McNair, Louis Bell, and Luke Combs, “Guy For That” finds the artists admitting that while they may have a guy for everything, like fixing a rifle or re-binding bibles, they “ain’t got a guy for that” when it comes to emotional and personal issues in a broken relationship.

“I’m pretty good at breakin’ down a heart/ But picking up the pieces is the hard part/ She’s searchin’ for someone who’s gonna build it back/ But I ain’t got a guy for that,” they sing.

Shortly after the song dropped on streaming platforms, the official music video for “Guy For That” was unveiled. The Chris Villa-directed clip features the artists performing the track while cruising down Broadway in a flatbed semi-truck. The duo took over downtown Nashville during the shoot, creating a buzz among fans as they drove through the bustling, tourist-packed street. Following the surprise video shoot in Music City, hundreds of video clips of the artists riding down Broadway were shared across social media.

According to U.S. Radio Updater, “Guy For That” is already making a splash at country radio, debuting on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart at No. 36 today.

The release of “Guy For That” further adds to the excitement surrounding Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion, set for release on Friday, August 16. Fans have already gotten a preview of the album through early releases of the collaborative tracks “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen and “Pour Me A Drink” with Blake Shelton.

“I Had Some Help” was the project’s lead single, dominating the charts upon its release. The song landed at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 11 for five consecutive weeks, earning the title of “the longest-running number one song of 2024.” The buzzed-about collab has raked in over 1 billion streams and continues to reign as the song of summer, earning the artists a multi-week No.1 at country radio as well as topping the Billboard Global 200 chart.

Meanwhile, “Pour Me A Drink” with Blake Shelton continues to gain momentum. The artists teamed up to release a music video for the song, throwing a lakeside backyard bash in honor of the occasion.

Recently, Post Malone teamed up with Bud Light to host a special “A Night in Nashville” concert event, delivering an hour-long performance filled with surprise guests, including Shelton, HARDY, Joe Nichols, and Sierra Ferrell.

In addition to performing unreleased tracks from F-1 Trillion, like the tender father/daughter ballad, “Yours,”  the genre-bending star also performed countrified versions of his biggest hits, including “Circles,” “Sunflower,” and “Rockstar.”

“I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you,” the GRAMMY-nominated superstar shared in a statement.

The F-1 Trillion Tour will close out in Nashville with a show at Nissan Stadium on October 19.
