Luke Combs just debuted “Tomorrow Me,” another track from his highly anticipated third studio album, and it’s one of his best songs yet.

Released on Friday (April 22) and co-written by Combs alongside Ray Fulcher and Dean Dillon, “Tomorrow Me” tells the relatable story of a man grappling with his feelings after a breakup. While he admits they both want the same thing, which is one more night together, he knows that he’ll regret it by the morning.

“Tomorrow Me ain’t gonna like the way things go tonight / if I let you in and think that it’ll be different thing time / so maybe we should let yesterday be / cause I got to live with Tomorrow Me,” Combs, who is expecting his first child with his wife Nicole Hocking Combs, sings on the chorus.

Lyrically, the song showcases a more mature side of the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, which could be an ongoing theme throughout the North Carolina native’s just-announced new album, Growin’ Up.

The Grand Ole Opry member first teased the song on social media earlier this year in January, when he shared a demo of the track on Twitter.

Arriving on June 24 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville, Combs’ third studio album, Growin’ Up, will feature 12 tracks and was produced by Combs alongside Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton.

“I’ve been working on this album on and off for two and a half years now. It was sort of a crazy process through what COVID brought, and what that meant for our touring life last year,” Combs shared in a press release. ”It made me have to put a pause on this album for a second, but I’m just really stoked that it’s finally coming out. Working with Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton as a producer has been really great and I think that the fans are going to love these songs. I’m just excited to get them out and see what they think.”

Combs’ upcoming third studio album will be the follow-up to his chart-topping, 2x Platinum 2019 album, What You See Is What You Get, and the 2020 deluxe edition of that dubbed, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.

Combs has previously shared several unreleased songs on social media, including “Ever Mine,” “Five Leaf Clover,” “We Still Drink Beer,” “Growing Up & Getting Old,” “Joe,” “Good Ol’ Days” and more, all of which fans are hoping will appear on the project.

Growin’ Up is available for preorder/pre-save now HERE.

Additionally, Combs is set to embark on his first-ever stadium tour, which is completely sold out, later this year with support from Cody Johnson, Morgan Wade and Zach Bryan.
