Luke Bryan just revealed the next single from his latest album and it’s guaranteed to be a smash hit.
The superstar is preparing to send the romantic track “Down To One” to country radio on October 19.
Written by Dallas Davidson, Justin Ebach and Kyle Fishman, “Down To One” finds Bryan looking back on a perfect night with his girl, reminiscing upon the moment they fell in love.
“We were down to 1 AM/ Listening to one more song/ Thinking I want more than just one night out here with you alone/ Down to that last Bud Light in the back of that two-tone, half-ton/ My heart was telling me that one more kiss and I’d be done/ Down to one hand in mine/ Down to one beautiful smile/ I was done with the girl I want/ Straight falling in love/ Right there that night/ Down to one,” he sings on the chorus.
The sweet love song fits perfectly within Bryan’s wheelhouse and will, without a doubt, be a massive hit at country radio.
“This is one that keeps coming up as a favorite from so many fans since I released this album,” Bryan says. “From the first time I heard this song I could not get it out of my head. The melody just roped me in. Excited to officially have it as my next single.”
“Down To One” follows the success of Bryan’s 25th No.1 single, “One Margarita.” The song is featured on his album, BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE, which also includes the chart-topping hits, “One Margarita,” “What She Wants Tonight” and “Knockin’ Boots.”
