Travis Denning’s fans continue to demand new music, so that’s exactly what he’s giving them.
Released Friday (Sept. 20), Denning’s newest song, “Heartbeat Of A Small Town,” was written after the Warner Robbins, Georgia native took a trip back to his hometown and spent some time reflecting on what it was like growing up there. The expertly written new track finds Denning comparing sounds commonly heard in a small town, like a marching band on a Friday night and the sound of bass coming out a half-ton truck, to a heartbeat.
“’Heartbeat Of A Small Town’ is about football, hard work, young love and everything that goes into making a small town tick” Denning explained. “My hometown means so much to me and is a big part of why I love country music, and I think this song is one a lot of people can relate to.”
Denning co-wrote “Heartbeat Of A Small Town” with Rhett Akins and Chris Stevens. The song is available now, just as Denning’s current Top 40 single, “After A Few,” continues to climb the charts at country radio.
