Luke Bryan is celebrating his 25th chart-topping single this week as his latest hit, “One Margarita,” tops both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts.
Co-written by Michael Carter, Matt Dragstrem and Josh Thompson, “One Margarita” is a full-blown party track that encourages listeners to let go of their worries and embrace the moment. Filled with tropical vibes, the boozy number even finds Bryan name dropping Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett and Kenny Chesney.
The four-time Entertainer of the Year says he knew he had to record the fun-filled song from the moment he first heard it.
“When I first heard ‘One Margarita’ I really thought it was the perfect summer song,” Bryan shares. “It’s catchy and fun and right now people just need a moment to let go. It’s been fun watching my fans react on socials and it’s gonna be even more fun when I get to perform it for them at a live show!”
“One Margarita” is the third consecutive No.1 single from the superstar’s forthcoming album, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here. Out August 7, the project includes 10 tracks and is the follow up to Bryan’s 2017 release, What Makes You Country.
