Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor will come together on Saturday, October 26 for “Concert for Carolina,” a special benefit show that aims to raise critical funds for the relief efforts in North Carolina following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

After hearing of the tragedy that struck the Southeast as a result of the storm, several country stars including Combs and Church pledged to do what they could to bring relief to the affected communities, especially within their home state, North Carolina.

Combs was first to speak out as he took to social media to let fans know that he and his team were working on “something really special” while Church promised to give all proceeds from his new song, “Darkest Hour (Helene Edit)” to the people of The Tar Heel State. With the help of their teams, they devised a plan to organize an event that would raise money for the ongoing relief efforts. A call was then made to David Tepper, owner of the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte FC, and Bank of America Stadium, and his wife Nicole Tepper, who both showed incredibly generosity as they offered up Bank of America Stadium as a venue.

Now that all the pieces have come together, it has been announced that Combs, Church, Strings and Taylor will continue the already generous contributions as they take the stage at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hopefully, this show will not only bring financial help to the communities, but it will also reignite some joy back into the lives of those impacted by the devastation.

Presented by Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, “Concert for Carolina,” will be hosted by ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley. Additional performers are expected to be announced at a later date.

For Combs, Church and Taylor, North Carolina will always be a special place in their hearts as it is where they were raised and where they gained a deep love for music. The “Fast Car” singer was born outside of Charlotte and raised in Asheville, Church is a native of Granite Falls and Taylor moved to Chapel Hill with his family when he was just three years old. Even though Strings is from Michigan, he too has close ties to the state as it is home to some of his most devoted listeners.

Tickets for the show will go on-sale this Thursday, October 10 at 10 a.m. ET. More information is available at www.concertforcarolina.com.

All proceeds from the event, including sponsorships, will be split 50/50 between Combs and Church’s Chief Cares Foundation and allocated to the organizations of their choice in support of relief efforts across the Carolinas and the Southeast.

Combs’ portion will be distributed between Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, as well as one more organization still to be announced.

The “Springsteen” singer’s Chief Cares is dedicated to supporting established and well-organized charities and organizations that are reliable in their work to promptly provide aid directly to the families affected by Hurricane Helene.

For those unable to attend the concert, support can also be given through donations to The North Carolina Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund or to various organizations listed at www.concertforcarolina.com.
