Luke Combs has done it again!
The superstar’s latest radio single, “Lovin’ On You,” reached the No.1 spot on Billboard Country Airplay chart, becoming the North Carolina native’s ninth consecutive chart-topping single. This marks a first on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart—and extends Combs’ record-breaking streak at country radio.
“Lovin’ On You” is the fourth single off his 2019 What You See Is What You Get album and was co-written by Combs alongside Thomas Archer, Ray Fulcher and James McNair.
The news comes just as Combs as revealed as one of the top nominees for the 54th Annual CMA Awards. He is currently nominated for six CMA awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (What You See Is What You Get), Song of the Year (“Even Though I’m Leaving” performed by Combs and “I Hope You’re Happy Now” performed by Carly Pearce and Lee Brice), Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year (“Beer Never Broke My Heart”).
On October 23, Luke Combs will release What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, a deluxe version of his 2019 album. The new release will include the album’s 18 original tracks as well as five brand new songs.
