Luke Combs is giving fans a rare glimpse into his life at home as a father.
The country superstar just shared adorable family snapshots of himself, his wife, Nicole, and their newborn son, Tex.
“This is what my days at home look like now. Couldn’t be happier about that. Been amazing getting to spend time with @nicolejcombs and little Tex,” Combs captioned a pair of photos taken by Montgomery Lee Photo.
The first photo showcases the now family of three in black and white. Luke is seen sweetly kissing Nicole’s forehead as she lovingly stares at little Tex in his daddy’s arms.
The second photo is in all-color and shows Luke enjoying a father/son moment. Little Tex is comfortably wrapped in a grey swaddle as he holds him close.
Tex Lawrence arrived on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, just one day before his due date, weighing 7lb, 6 oz.
In a recent Instagram Q&A with fans, Nicole shared the inspiration behind their son’s unique name, revealing that his name was inspired by family members on both sides of the family: Tex is Luke’s great uncle’s name, and Lawrence is her father’s name.
While the new parents are enjoying life at home with Tex, Nicole admitted the transition to life with a newborn came with a few challenges.
“It’s crazy how sudden everything changes, haha,” she wrote. “No matter how much I thought I prepared for everything, I still feel unprepared. The no sleep has been the hardest for me, but every mom and baby are different.”
Luke Combs enjoyed some time off the road until recently when he returned to the stage for a run of shows in Canada. His next scheduled tour date is July 23 at Buckeye Country Superfest in Columbus, Ohio.
Combs recently celebrated a No.1 album debut with his just-released new project, Growin’ Up.
The 12-track album features the chart-topping hit, “Doin’ This,” Combs’ current single, “The Kind Of Love We Make,” and “Outrunnin’ Your Memory,” a duet with Miranda Lambert.
The reigning CMA Entertainer Of The Year will hit the road this fall on his headlining Middle Of Somewhere Tour with direct support from Jordan Davis. The trek, which kicks off on September 2 in Bangor, ME, will also feature special guests Morgan Wade and Lainey Wilson on select dates.
In November 2022, the country hitmaker will launch his Canadian tour with special guests Riley Green and Chayce Beckham.
