Maddie and Tae; We Need Christmas Video

Maddie & Tae’s “We Need Christmas” music video is here and it’s absolutely stunning.

The clip features Maddie & Tae singing the holiday track in a beautifully decorated home. The video has no storyline, instead, it focuses on the duo and the song’s heartfelt lyrics, which serve as a plea for peace and love.

“This world could use a little healing/ Our hearts could surely use something to believe in,” they sing.

It’s safe to say that the song’s message couldn’t be more relevant after this unprecedented year.

“We need Christmas now more than ever/ Bring us together/ We need Christmas come on December/ Help us remember/ The joy, the peace and the hope that love can bring/ And the bells hear ’em ring/ Let all the angels sing/ Oh we need Christmas,” Maddie & Tae croon throughout the chorus.

“We Need Christmas” was written by the duo alongside AJ Pruis and Matthew West. The song is the title track to the duo’s first-ever Christmas album, which was released in October. Produced by Jimmy Robbins and Derek Wells, the project features two originals as well as holiday favorites including “This Christmas,” “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
