The country star recently welcomed an adorable Goldendoodle puppy into her gorgeous new Nashville home and named her after country music’s most hallowed institution, the Grand Ole Opry.
Alaina introduced her new pup to fans in December when she performed at the Opry, showcasing adorable photos of Opry Alaina at the Grand Ole Opry house.
“Everyone paws what you’re doing and meet my sweet baby girl, Opry. I’m pretty sure this is the cutest @Opry debut to date,” she captioned the photos.

The “Getting Over Him” singer opened up about her new four-legged friend during a recent appearance on the Get Real with Caroline Hobby podcast, admitting her new role as a puppy mom was taking a toll on her.
“I understand why moms need nannies. I need a puppy nanny,” she joked, adding that she can’t seem to get anything done around the house with little Opry needing so much attention.

Even though she might be a handful, the Georgia native said she is already “obsessed” with Opry.
“You love them the minute you bring them home,” she shared of her new friend.
