Megan Moroney shared a full circle moment with Chase Matthew this week when he joined her for her back-to-back sold-out concerts at Nashville’s newest venue, The Pinnacle.

Matthew, fresh off a sold-out show at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium, helped kick things off both nights. On Friday morning, Moroney took a moment to share her appreciation for him, opening up about why their friendship means so much to her.

“Chase was the first artist to take me out on the road with him back in 2022. We followed him around in a Honda Civic & he let me open for him while I was trying to figure out how to play in front of people,” she wrote on an Instagram story.

She went on to praise him and also gave his latest album a shoutout.

“We just got to play 2 nights in Nashville together & I’m so grateful for him & our friendship. He’s seriously one of the best humans I know. Love ya 4EVERRRRR, Chase Matthew,” she shared and later added, “Ya’ll check out his new album, CHASE.”

During the shows, Moroney invited Matthew back out on stage during the encore to join her for a performance of her latest single, “Am I Okay?” During Wednesday night’s show, Matthew returned to the stage wearing Megan Moroney’s merch, proving their ongoing support for one another.

Earlier this year, Chase Matthew opened up about his friendship with Moroney when he joined us for the Pupdate alongside his beloved dog, JD

“[We] go way back. We’ve been friends for a long time and I think that she’s extremely talented,” her told us. “Megan went out on the road with us, she was opening for me and then ‘Tennessee Orange’ blew up and it was up from there. She has built this diehard fan base and I think more people should try to build their fan base the way she’s done it. She’s very one-on-one with her fans, very relatable, very outside of the box…critical thinking. She thinks in ways that most artists don’t, it’s really cool.”

Megan Moroney’s AM I OKAY? TOUR continues tonight in Knoxville, Tenn. and is set to make stops around the country through October 12.

Meanwhile, Chase Matthew is headlining his 2025 WORLD TOUR and is gearing up to hit the road with Keith Urban on the HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR this summer.
