Midland lead singer Mark Wystrach and his wife, Ty Haney, took to Instagram to introduce fans to their just-born baby girl, Sundance “Sunny” Leon, on Friday (Nov. 29). The post came just hours after it was revealed that Midland was forced to postpone their upcoming U.K. tour due to a medical emergency following her birth.

The trio shared the news on social media, telling fans that Wystrach’s daughter was expected to make a full recovery but that the tour was being postponed because the singer was unable to be away from home during this time.

Thankfully, it seems as if little Sunny is doing just fine now. Wystrach’s latest social media post revealed that his baby girl “came into this world with a bang.”

“It’s been a wild and unexpected week in the hospital, but we are doing great,” the proud new father shared.

He went on to thank the hospital staff for their efforts and gushed over his newborn girl.

“Lil Baby Sunny is strong, beautiful and an absolute joy,” he wrote. “We’ve gotten a clean bill of health and we’re going home tomorrow. Yeehaw!”

Midland’s U.K. tour, which was originally scheduled to kick off December 2, will be rescheduled for sometime in 2020. Details regarding rescheduled dates and refunds will be sent to those who purchased tickets soon.
