Miranda Lambert is not letting hateful comments get her down. Last month, the country music superstar revealed she would be joining fellow hitmaker Morgan Wallen as a special guest on his 2025 I’m The Problem Tour and not all fans were happy with this news.

The “Wranglers” singer decided to find light in the situation by reading off some of the mean comments on her tour announcement post while getting her makeup done.

A few of the negative messages read:

“I’ll pass.”

“I was the biggest Miranda fan.”

“Hmm Team Miranda forever. This comes as a shock.”

“This ain’t it, sis.”

“I’m so disappointed in both of you. May God forgive you both.”

Lambert interjected with a laugh to say, “We’re really doing bad on this tour, Morgan.”

She continued reading comments like “Girl. You can do better than this” and “You’re just clinging to something popular so you can try to stay relevant.”

Others pointed out that she will not be one of the special guests appearing on Wallen’s Texas dates, to which she replied, “I know that sucks. I’m not on the Texas shows.”

One of the final comments she read said, “I’m so confused why you haven’t been an entertainer of the year the last several years.”

Lambert corrected the user. She said, “Well, I was one,” in reference to her win at the 2021 ACM Awards.

“You are not a side dish. You are a main course”

The majority of fans with the negative opinions were upfront in their belief that the Texas native has far surpassed her days of being an opener and that if anything, “he should be opening for you.”

“You are not a side dish. You are a main course,” another user wrote, which caused a member of her team to chime in from behind the camera saying, “That’s true. That is true.”

“I’m further confused about why you’d be opening for anyone. You should be the headliner. What’s going on?”

Viewers once again heard a voice from behind the camera declare, “That’s actually true.”

Lamber then shared her opinion adding, “It’s not wrong. It’s not right.”

“So there we go. Thanks guys for the support. Appreciate it guys,” she said in conclusion of the video.

Weaved in among the negative comments were at least a few kind words shared by fans who are looking forward to seeing her on the road this year.

One comment read, “why is everyone hating this is an AMAZING collab!,” while another said, “😍 the best duo.”

Regardless of what people commented, Lambert said she appreciates her fans that “aren’t afraid to hold back 😂”
