Miranda Lambert performed her latest single “Bluebird” from the porch of her Tennessee farm during ACM Presents: Our Country on Sunday (April 5).

“Miranda coming to you from my farm in Tennessee. The water you hear is a natural spring coming from the mountain, and it creates this beautiful waterfall. I sit on this porch and I’ve done a lot of healing, a lot of thinkin’ right here and I actually got married right here.” Lambert explained. “My husband was supposed to film this but he’s fishing at the pond, and I figure for a New York city boy, he better learn how to fish so I’ll let him do that.”

With her porch lights shining from above, Lambert went on to offer a hopeful message to fans during this time of uncertainty.

“I got my iPad and my guitar and I just want to remind everybody that we’re here in it together and thank goodness for technology, so that we can still connect and thank you to the ACMs for setting this up and allowing us to connect with each other,” she shared. “I want to remind everybody to lean in to your music, lean into your guitars and your pianos and your voices and let that heal you cause music is medicine. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again cause it truly is something I walk out every day of my life. Anyway, until we can be together again in the same room, I’ll just sit right here and play you a little bit of ‘Bluebird.’”

“Bluebird” is the second single from Lambert’s wildly successful studio album, Wildcard.

ACM Presents: Our Country aired on Sunday (April 5) at 8:00 p.m. ET on the CBS Television Network and on CBS All Access. The two-hour special also included performances from Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan and many more. The show also showcased clips of artists’ favorite moments the ACM Awards’ 55-year history.
