Tim McGraw performed the GRAMMY-winning song “Humble And Kind” on Sunday’s ACM Presents: Our Country.
The superstar was joined by members of his band from their respective homes for the performance. McGraw donned a ball cap and jeans for the casual clip, singing the song while seated on the floor near a white ottoman at his Tennessee home.
“Hold the door say please say thank you / Don’t steal, don’t cheat, and don’t lie / I know you got mountains to climb but / Always stay humble and kind / When the dreams you’re dreamin’ come to you / When the work you put in is realized / Let yourself feel the pride but / Always stay humble and kind,” McGraw sang throughout the chorus.
The song was written by songwriter Lori McKenna, and is the second single from his 2016 album, Damn Country Music. The song peaked at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs in 2016 and marks his 26th No. 1.
“Humble And Kind” was nominated for three ACM Awards in 2017 including for ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Single Record of the Year’ and ‘Video of the Year.’
