Morgan Wallen has partnered up with Ryl Tea, the functional tea brand offering healthy, ready-to-drink teas, to debut a brand-new flavor called Ryl Sweet Tea.
After six months of working closely with the brand to develop a product that meets his standards, Wallen took to social media on Thursday, May 25 to finally announce the new summer drink just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
“Ryl Tea and I worked hard to capture the sweet tea taste I remember from my childhood. It took time, but it was well worth the wait. I love this sweet tea and the fact that it’s healthy makes it all the better,” Wallen shared in a press release. “This tea takes me right back to my Mamaw’s front porch on a hot summer’s day.”
Featuring a black tea base, this ready-to-drink beverage is packed with 200mg of tea polyphenols for an antioxidant boost and is sweetened with Monk Fruit, Stevia Leaf Extract, and Allulose.
While traditional sweet tea is known for providing that much-needed refreshment on warm, carefree days, it’s also generally considered to be a sugar-laden beverage. Ryl Sweet Tea replicates the same nostalgia of this classic southern drink, while also offering a healthy alternative as it’s an antioxidant-rich, all-natural, zero sugar and low-calorie drink.

Wallen and Ryl have also partnered up with strategic retail partners Harris Teeter, Brookshire Grocery, and Reasor’s to bring the iced tea to stores this summer. This June, the brand will be featured in pre-existing Ryl Tea retailers such as Wegmans, Shoprite, and Sprouts Farmers Market
Then in late-July, the national grocery chain, Kroger, will add Ryl Sweet Tea to its shelves. Ryl Sweet Tea will be found in several Kroger divisions, including Dallas, Nashville, Michigan, Mid-Atlantic, Fred Meyer and King Soopers, with more divisions to follow by October.
This partnership comes about a month before Morgan Wallen is expected to resume his headlining One Night At A Time World Tour. After a six-week doctor-ordered vocal rest, he will return to the stage with back-to-back nights at Wrigley Field in Chicago on June 22 and June 23.
His trek kicked off with two sold-out shows at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in April and marks Wallen’s first-time ever headlining stadiums across the globe for multiple nights.
Produced by Live Nation, the trek will feature support from ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman on all dates. HARDY and Parker McCollum will also appear on select dates.
