Morgan Wallen is returning home in a BIG way. Early Monday morning, the country superstar announced plans to headline The University of Tennessee’s Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, September 22.

The East Tennessee native and longtime Tennessee Volunteers fan reactivated his Instagram account to share the exciting news.

“I’m coming home,” he captioned his video announcement.

The clip showcases a montage of concert footage, scenes from inside Neyland Stadium, and snapshots of the Tennessee Vols, all set to the tune of “Rocky Top.”

For the show, which is included as part of his One Night At A Time Tour, Wallen will be joined by his longtime friends HARDY and ERNEST.

Tickets go on sale at 11 am EST this Wednesday, July 17 via Wallen’s official website. Special VIP Packages, which may include premium tickets, a guided backstage tour, a group photo on the stage, an invitation to the Morgan Wallen VIP Lounge, a VIP-exclusive gift item, and more, will also be available.

For Wallen, who grew up in the small town of Sneedville, Tennessee, about 70 miles northeast of Knoxville, and later moved to Knoxville as a teenager, headlining Neyland Stadium has long been a dream of his.

“I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee,” Wallen shared in a statement.

A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold to his live performances goes to The Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), dedicated to ensuring all children have opportunities to flourish, play, and express themselves through sports and music. In celebration of his Hyde Park debut, MWF has allocated $20,000 to support the London Youth Choirs (LYC). LYC aims to enhance access to music and singing for underprivileged youth, with Wallen’s donation helping them discover their musical talents and thrive.

The news comes just after Wallen was forced to reschedule three shows on the tour due to illness. Sickness struck the signer/songwriter after he returned from London where he played the largest country concert ever in the United Kingdom with 50,000 fans at BST Hyde Park on July 4. This marked Wallen’s first U.K. appearance since performing to a sold-out crowd at The O2 in December of 2023.

Following his buzzed-about London show, the East Tennessee native released the long-awaited studio recording of his song, “Lies, Lies, Lies.” The track showcases a softer side of Wallen. Throughout the lyrics, he admits to struggling to move on from a breakup. While he tries to convince himself that he no longer thinks of his ex and that he’s no longer attempting to drink away her memory, he ultimately admits that he’s in denial and that everything he tries to make himself believe are “Lies, Lies, Lies.”

The song is now available for immediate adds at country radio, indicating that this is indeed his new single.

Wallen currently sits atop the Billboard Country Airplay Chart for the fourth consecutive week with “I Had Some Help,” his collaboration with Post Malone. According to country radio insider Chris Owen, this is the longest-running No.1 single at country radio this year so far.
