Over the weekend, a young fan of country superstar Morgan Wallen had the “best night” of her life when Make-A-Wish granted her wish to attend one of his concerts.

Addison, who battles the incurable lung disease Cure Cystic Fibrosis, was given the “rockstar” treatment during Wallen’s stop in Charlotte, NC on Oct. 19, a show she has been waiting a year to see. The 7-year-old and several of her family members were flown to North Carolina and got the chance to experience a special meet and greet with Wallen backstage before the concert began. They were greeted by escorts from the Panthers organization as well as a representative from Make-A-Wish North Carolina who made Addison feel “welcome and loved,” according to her mom, Kaitlin.

The young girl was all dressed up in her denim jacket, white cowboy boots and white cowboy hat, which matched her mom’s outfit. The family of four received a warm welcome from Wallen who carefully listened to everything Addison had to say, especially when she listened off her favorite songs of his. The Tennessee native also signed her boot, took plenty of photos with the family and happily accepted two bracelets from Addison that he promised to wear for the entire night.

“Her wish night couldn’t have been more perfect,” Kaitlin shared. “She made a bracelet for him with her team name on it, ‘Addison’s Army’ and the other side said ‘Cure Cystic Fibrosis,’ which is the lung disease she has. He wore it the entire show and it made her and our whole family cry with happiness that he showed that support for her.”

Kaitlin captured many moments of their unbelievable weekend and shared the photos to social media alongside heartfelt messages towards the country singer and the Make-A-Wish team. She revealed that Addison “still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Which I LOVEEE.”

While speaking with Country Now about the exciting few days, she went on to boast about the kindness Wallen exuded the entire time and explained he made the whole family feel welcome.

“Meeting Morgan couldn’t have gone more perfect. He was so kind and welcoming and gracious. He spent time really getting to know Addison, and her brother too.”

Once the meet and greet came to an end, Addison and her loved ones received an escort to their special VIP seating area inside Bank of America Stadium that offered private bathrooms, drinks and delicious food options like popcorn with sprinkles and marshmallows. Her mom noted that she made friends with those seated around them while dancing and singing her heart out. Even though this was her first major concert, Addison stayed up all night long so that she didn’t miss a moment of the show.

“Experiencing their first really huge concert was something I never expected to do so young but they ROCKED it. Stayed up the whole time singing along to every word 🙂 at the end of the night addy said ‘this was the best night of my life. My life is made,’” Kaitlin wrote on Instagram.

Addison’s mom has previously shared via social media that her daughter’s love for Morgan Wallen runs deep and has even served as an inspiration through her treatments. She shared that Addison listens to him “everyday all day long” and even sleeps with a blanket full of his pictures. So getting to finally meet him in person was truly an experience of a lifetime.

“Getting to see her interact with her absolute favorite person in the world was the most amazing feeling a mother could have. Seeing her smile that big and laugh and sing her heart out just made my heart burst with love and happiness,” she added.

Cystic Fibros is a life-threatening lung disease with no cure. Addison’s diagnosis was determined at birth. She had surgery at only 2 days old and had to stay in the Nicu for months. Now at 7 years old she continues to fight by taking multiple medications, taking extra precautions and doing several airway clearance therapies a day in order to “keep the mucus from building up inside of her lungs.”

Kaitlin admitted she was “moved to tears” watching her daughter ooze excitement throughout this past weekend, knowing how much she’s been through in her life already.
