Morgan Wallen’s hot streak continues as his latest single, “More Than My Hometown,” claims the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country radio airplay charts this week.
This marks Wallen’s fourth consecutive chart-topping single.
“More Than My Hometown” was co-written by Wallen with Michael Hardy, Ernest Keith Smith and Ryan Vojtesak and produced by Joey Moi.
“Thank you, country radio, my incredible fans and my relentless team for making this our fourth consecutive #1,” shared Wallen with Billboard. “Also, thank you to my co-writers for collaborating with me on this song and for just being some damn good friends. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.”

Wallen recently teamed up with Xfinity for an exclusive bonus American Music Awards performance of “More Than My Hometown.” Filmed on location at Nashville’s famed Bluebird Cafe, the clip can be seen above.
The CMA New Artist of the Year is slated to release his much-anticipated sophomore album, Dangerous: The Double Album, on January 8, 2021. “More Than My Hometown” is one of 30 tracks included on the project.
Fans recently got a sneak peek of three new tracks: “Livin’ The Dream,” “Somebody’s Problem” and “Still Goin Down.”

Black also spent time in front of the camera as host of Country Now Live, which brought live music directly to fans in 2021 when the majority of concerts were halted due to the pandemic. During this time, she hosted 24 weeks of live concerts via Country Now Live on Twitch with special guests such as Lady A, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, Brett Young, and Jon Pardi. Over the course of her career, she has had the privilege of conducting interviews with some of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and many others. Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
