The 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards may have been cancelled, but the winners are still being celebrated.

Throughout Labor Day Weekend, iHeartradio will reveal the winners in various categories via on-air programming and social media posts.

On Friday, Morgan Wallen learned that he was awarded the title of Best New Country Artist.

The “More Than My Hometown” singer appeared in a social media post to accept the honor.

After thanking iHeartRadio for support his music, the superstar thanked those who support him, no matter what.

“Thank you to the fans who have really changed my life, especially over this past year,” he said. “It’s been incredible. Even during quarantine, I’ve just felt the momentum and love from y’all.”

Wallen went on to thank his team, including his management, record label and agents and also his family for their support.

Morgan Wallen is currently nominated for the title of CMA New Artist of the Year. The winner for that award will be crown on November 11.
