Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi To Release First-Ever Solo Project, ‘Parallel Love’
The award-winning artist, guitarist, and songwriter admits this collection is 10 years in the making.

Brad Tursi of multi-platinum-selling country band Old Dominion has announced plans to release his first-ever solo project on July 19. Parallel Love is a collection of 10 songs that have been written over the past 10 years, documenting moments of reflection for Tursi across various stages of his career as an award-winning artist, guitarist, and writer.
Although stepping out with his first set of solo work, Tursi is still an active member of Old Dominion and says he has received full support from his bandmates in pursuit of his forthcoming project.
“This process was purely creative. I wasn’t even sure I’d release a project, but when I played it for my team, they all reacted really positively,” said Tursi. “It felt like everything aligned to finally share it.”
In his recent social media post, announcing the news of his next venture, the artist admits these songs “may be a little departure from what you are used to from me.” He went on to gush about his excitement towards Parallel Love, saying he is “very proud” of what he has accomplished and is looking forward to fans finally getting their hands on it.
“I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed creating it,” he wrote.
Tursi produced the entire collection of work while Ben West and Marc Scibilia co-produced select tracks. Additionally, he also served as a co-writer on the tracks alongside Stephen Wilson Jr., Dan Isbell, Jessi Alexander, and Matt Jenkins.

In addition to his role with the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year, Tursi’s accolades include earning a GRAMMY nomination for his work as a songwriter, multiple CMA Triple Play Awards for writing three No. 1 songs in a 12-month period, and the title of AIMP Artist Writer of the Year. Plus, he is responsible for co-writing hits for country music superstars such as Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Tyler Hubbard, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, and Cole Swindell, and many more.
In anticipation of Parallel Love’s release, fans can find Brad Tursi and the rest of his OD bandmates on the road with plenty of shows on the books in the coming months. They are next scheduled to take the stage at the Faster Horses Music Festival in Brooklyn, MI on July 20, followed by the Porter County Fair in Valparaiso, INon July 21.
