Breakout star Oliver Anthony just announced the Out of the Woods Tour and will bring his live show to 40+ cities across the world in 2024.
The singer/songwriter, whose real name is Christopher Anthony Lunsford, will kick off the trek in Stockholm, Sweden on February 1. His first-ever major tour will make several stops across the pond before returning to the United States for back-to-back shows at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. The 31-year-old will then visit various arenas and amphitheaters around the U.S. through September 13 when the tour will wrap in Allegan, MI at the Allegan County Fair.
“I am getting flooded with messages about where to find 2024 tour tickets,” Anthony wrote on social media when announcing the tour news. He directed fans to his website for more details.

Keeping with his recent promise to keep ticket prices affordable, the cost per ticket will range from $25-$45 for the majority of shows, according to Billboard.
In his first interview with a media platform outside of podcasts or television stations, the father of three shared an update on what life has been like since going viral with “Rich Men North Of Richmond” just three months ago.
“The last 90 days have been a little crazy,” he told Billboard. “It’s funny because the music side of it has been very calming and enjoyable. It’s all the stuff behind the scenes that’s unreasonably chaotic. My life is actually a lot simpler in some ways, because I’m not working a job and juggling 10 other things with the music. But when you become a full-time musician, you’re essentially a business owner and an entrepreneur and a lot of other things, too. And those are things I’m not quite used to yet.”

While he’s signed with United Talent Agency (UTA), a leading global talent, sports, entertainment, and advisory company, for exclusive worldwide representation in all areas, he has no plans to sign with a record label or get a manager (he’s currently self-managed). He is, however, in discussions with a producer to help him create his forthcoming debut album.
Working On His First Full-Length Album
“I don’t know if I can say who I’m recording with or not, but he’s one of the best in the business,” the former salesman teased. “In my opinion, it’s probably going to blow away everything else I’ve done so far, because everything has been recorded with just the internal microphone off of an about broken-in-half Android phone with a cracked screen. Even the radiowv videos used very basic equipment, so I had never had anything recorded with studio-quality equipment. So even just the vocal quality should absolutely knock people’s socks off, compared to what they’re used to hearing.”
He promised that his album would be “authentic” and that he wouldn’t have too many cooks in the kitchen when it comes to production.

“Everything now is just so carefully refined and edited and so we won’t have any of that,” he declared, adding, “If anything, some of the songs are going to be recorded on older equipment from the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s.”
With a newborn son at home, Oliver Anthony plans to take some time away from the road in the coming weeks. Throughout November and December, he’ll be working on new music and plans to share some of what he’s working on in early 2024.
“I have dozens of unfinished songs that have been put on the back burner in the whirlwind of the last two months,” he previously revealed.
“Rich Men North Of Richmond”
Oliver Anthony has one of the most remarkable success stories in the music industry this year. His musical journey kicked off in August when he independently released his now chart-topping track, “Rich Men North of Richmond.”
Following the release of the song, the rising star achieved a historic feat by becoming the first artist to earn a No. 1 debut on the Billboard charts without any prior chart presence. This achievement makes Oliver Anthony the first unsigned artist since 1994 to be No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The last unsigned artist to earn a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 was Lisa Loeb with her single, “Stay (I Missed You),” which was released in 1994 via RCA Records.
