The 148th running of the Kentucky Derby took place on Saturday (May 7) at Churchill Downs and there was no shortage of superstars in attendance. Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Sam Hunt, Chase Rice, Brittney Spencer, Travis Tritt, Jon Pardi and Tanya Tucker were among the country artists who attended “The Run For The Roses.”

Keeping with tradition, the artists dressed to the nines and the ladies sported feathered fascinators with dresses to complete their looks.

Ahead of “The Greatest Two Minutes In Sports,” several artists also attended the 33rd Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala.

Known as one of the biggest parties of the year, the event took place at the home of Patricia Barnstable Brown. The gala is known for its star power and surprise performances and this year’s event did not disappoint with performances by Rice, Rucker and Janet Jackson.

Other celebrities who attended the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala include Bon Jovi’s guitarist Richie Sambora, New Edition, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, actor Justin Hartley, *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, among several other high profile individuals.

In the past 13 years, the lavish party has raised approximately $17 million for the Barnstable Brown Diabetes Center at the University of Kentucky.

Several artists took to social media to document their time at the derby. See photos from Derby weekend below.

“Great time at the Derby!” Pardi wrote.

“Derby wknd 🌻” Spencer captioned a series of photos.

“I got your trifecta right here. Derby Day LFG,” Rice shared.

“Who wants to sell me a horse?” Wallen captioned a series of photos from his weekend festivities.

“Great weekend with great friends 🙌🏼 Ever have times in life when social media isn’t a priority and life is?… The best way to be ♥️,” Brittany Aldean wrote.

“Hanging with my buddy @realjoeyfatone at the Kentucky Oaks race,” Tritt posted.

“At the @kentuckyderby yesterday with my favorite dude in the world!!!! They grow up so darn fast!!” Rucker said.

“Derby 2022,” Hunt simply captioned his photo alongside Chase Rice and Morgan Wallen.
