Country hitmaker Gabby Barrett took a short break from her CMA Country Christmas hosting duties for an angelic performance of the traditional Christmas carol, “Silent Night.”

Donning a stunning white gown and joined by husband Cade Foehner on guitar, the chart-topping singer/songwriter performed the popular Christmas tune.

“Not only am I hosting CMA Country Christmas this year, I am also performing, but I’m definitely more nervous to host for sure,” Barrett said ahead of her performance. ”I haven’t hosted anything before. I mean, I’ve been singing since I was 9, performing since I was 11, so that’s pretty much all that I know really well and what I’m comfortable with, but thankfully I have a good friend like Carly who makes it easier and makes it more comfortable. So, I’m thankful for her.”

In late October, Barrett shared her rendition of “Silent Night” as an Apple Music original.

“When I was performing at a very young age and singing anywhere that I could, at any Christmas tree lightings in the area — around Pittsburgh, where I’m originally from — I remember always singing ‘Silent Night’ and people always sang along,” Barrett said. “So it always just takes me back to that memory of where I came from and where I started.”

Gabby Barrett and Carly Pearce joined forces to co-host CMA Country Christmas, which aired on Monday, November 29 on ABC.

The star-studded show also featured festive performances by Barrett, Pearce, Jimmie Allen with Louis York and The Shindellas, BRELAND, Brett Eldredge, Lady A, Pistol Annies, Carrie Underwood and Lainey Wilson.

Beginning November 30, the CMA Country Christmas will be available to watch anytime on demand and available to stream on Hulu.
