Reba McEntire has a new man in her life!
The superstar opened up about her new boyfriend and dating during the pandemic in the latest episode of her new podcast, Living & Learning with Reba McEntire.
Joined by her longtime friend and former Reba co-star, Melissa Peterman, for the “Dating” episode, the legendary entertainer revealed that she is seeing actor Rex Linn.
“I am [dating], a very, very sweetheart of a guy, Rex Linn and we’ve been talking during the pandemic,” McEntire shared. “We had dinner with Rex in, what was it in, January?”
Peterman, who was actually on-hand for the couple’s “so-called” first date, confirmed.
“Then February on, it was the COVID pandemic and we were talking, texting, [using] facetime and that’s a really good way of getting to know people,” McEntire acknowledged., adding, “It’s good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what’s going on, discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor and me being an actress. He’s very into my music. I’m very into his career. It’s just great getting to talk to somebody who I find very interesting, very funny, very smart and is interested in me too.”
Rex Linn is a television and film actor and is known for roles in shows such as Better Call Saul, CSI: Miami and JAG. He also stars in Young Sheldon, a CBS comedy that Reba made a guest appearance on earlier this year.
Reba said they are “having a blast” getting to know each other and said that Rex is “very special.”
