Country music fans everywhere know Reba McEntire’s signature hit, “I’m A Survivor” from her 2000’s sitcom, Reba, but now they’ve got a new anthem to sing along to as the musical icon has just released the theme song for her new NBC comedy, Happy’s Place.

The song, which shares the show’s title, was released today by MCA Nashville and written by McEntire with Doug Sisemore and longtime friend Carole King. It is now available across all music platforms and will debut on the Happy’s Place series premiere, which is set for Friday Oct. 18 at 8 p.m.

“I’m so happy for the opportunity to write the theme song for “Happy’s Place” with my good friend, Carole King,” said McEntire. “It just doesn’t get much better than that! I hope my fans will love this song as much as they did the theme song for the ‘Reba’ show.”

The tune will “surely lift your spirits” with its perfect balance of warmth and nostalgia that invites listeners inside the place that acts as the perfect sanctuary. McEntire’s signature vocals give the song a feeling of true southern comfort, allowing any problems or worries to fade away.

“Come on to happy’s place/ You belong at happy’s place/ Rest your heart and be a part/ You’ll always feel so safe/ Put a smile on someone else’s face/ Right here at happy’s place/ Oh, right here at happy’s place,” the Oklahoma native sings on the chorus.

Reba McEntire stars in the new show, playing the role of Bobbie who unexpectedly inherits her father’s tavern (Happy’s Place). The “Seven Minutes In Heaven” singer gets the biggest surprise of all when she learns that her father secretly had a second family and she finds herself obtaining a new half-sister and business partner, Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo. The twenty-something ends up playing a major role in McEntire’s life as they now have to figure out how to navigate all their family drama.

The series also stars Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk and McEntire’s real-life boyfriend, Rex Linn, who plays the tavern’s short-order cook named Emmett. McEntire and Peterman are no strangers to acting on set together as they have co-starred in several shows together over the years, including RebaWorking ClassBaby Daddy and Young Sheldon. They are also great friends both on and off set.
