Remember Yodel Boy? His real name is Mason Ramsey, and he went viral after a video of him singing “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams in his hometown Walmart in 2018.

The video led to an appearance on The Ellen Show, his Grand Ole Opry debut, and he even performed at Coachella. The release of his debut EP, Famous, came in 2018, followed by Twang in 2019. He went on to release several music videos but has seemingly disappeared after he released “How Could I Not” in October 2019.

He recently took to Instagram to give fans a life update: “Sorry I’ve been so quiet on social media lately. I’ve been living my life and took a step back from everything for a bit. I’m 15 now and a lot has changed since that day in Walmart. Hang tight because I’ve got big plans for 2022.”

The 15-year-old has also made a splash on TikTok, where several of his recent videos have millions of views.

Most of the clips show him working at his local Subway with his 2019 song “Before I Knew It” playing in the background. He’s also posted duets with fans complimenting his talent.

Though it’s unclear if Ramsey has new music coming out this year, it appears fans are excited about his comeback and can’t wait to see what he has in store for this year.
