In the photo shared by the “One Mississippi” singer, Kane’s new tattoo can be seen on the top side of his hand, while Katelyn’s can be seen on her forearm.

Kane opted for their daughter’s first name, and Katelyn went with her first and middle name.

The tattoos were done by Bubba Irwin, who has also worked with artists like Brett Young and RaeLynn. Fans may also know Irwin from his appearance on the reality TV competition Ink Master.

It’s no surprise that Kane and Katelyn got tattoos for little Kodi Jane as they did the same for their first daughter, Kingsley Rose.

Two years ago this month, Kane and Katelyn revealed that they got tattoos with Kingsley’s name.

Kane and Katelyn shocked fans on New Year’s Eve when they revealed that they welcomed their second child as they never publicly shared that Katelyn was pregnant. After Kodi’s birth, Katelyn opened up about her decision to keep her pregnancy private.

“These past 9 months have been so sacred and special to me. Choosing to keep my pregnancy quiet was the best decision I’ve ever made,” she shared on social media alongside a black-and-white maternity photo.

Katelyn went on to share how experiencing her pregnancy in private impacted her mental state.

“Soaking in special moments with my daughter and husband without the influence of social media and outside world made this time that much more intimate and unforgettable,” she continued. “Thank you for all the kind messages and love. I am so grateful and blessed to be these little girls mama and can not wait to raise strong, confident, sweet little ladies with you @kanebrown_music … you are the man we all look up to ❣️

She later documented the moment she old Kane she was pregnant and has since shared a number of never-before-seen maternity photos.
