The talented ladies of Runaway June are spreading the Christmas cheer this year with the release of their five-song When I Think About Christmas EP. The collection includes holiday classics and two originals and to celebrate, the trio is taking over Country Now’s playlist with the ultimate Christmas lineup!
Runaway June’s takeover includes a lot of girl power, with songs from their 2019 tourmates Carrie Underwood and Maddie & Tae, as well as holiday tracks from Taylor Swift, Gabby Barrett and Kelsea Ballerini.
“AH! Loved making this Christmas playlist, we included some of our good friends, songs we are fans of as well as a little pop in the mix,” Naomi Cooke says. “Personally, I love Carrie’s version of Silent Night. She created such a beautiful rendition that gets me right in the holiday spirit.”
Jennifer Wayne adds, “Man so many of our favorites got added to this list, it was hard to pick just a few!! Maddie and Tae’s original ‘We Need Christmas‘ is one of my favorites. We love those girls and their Christmas record a lot!”
The trio also included a few of their Christmas originals and a handful of pop Christmas tracks.
“Well, we had to add a few of our own in addition to all these favorites!! Our song, ‘Christmas on the Radio’ automatically makes me want to be dance around the house while baking cookies and decorating the tree,” Natalie Stovall explains. “Also, who doesn’t love a little Justin Bieber Christmas?!”
