And baby makes FOUR!
Ryan Griffin and his wife Talia are now parents of two as they welcomed their second son, Jude Michael, into the world on Monday (July 27). People.com reports that Little Jude made his grand entrance at 3:00 am, 3 a.m., weighing 6 lbs., 15 oz., and measuring 19.5 inches long.
“On July 27 at 3 a.m., we welcomed another precious boy into the Griffin family,” the singer/songwriter told the publication. “We chose the name Jude Michael, which means ‘praise’ and ‘he who is like God.’ ”
He went on to reveal that his son’s name has a special meaning behind it.
“Michael was specifically chosen to honor our dear friend Busbee,” referring to the Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, who unexpectedly passed away in 2019 due to glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer (Busbee’s real name was Michael James Ryan).
Griffin also shared the news on social media and praised his wife, calling her his “hero” following the birth of their son.
Jude Michael joins big brother Levi Hart, who will turn 5 in October.
Ryan Griffin is gearing up to release his major-label debut EP, Name On It, on August 28.
