Sam Hunt surprised fans with a Garth Brooks cover on Sunday (Aug. 30).

The superstar took to Instagram to share a recorded cover of Brooks’ 1991 hit, “What She’s Doing Now.”

Hunt’s rendition greatly differs from the original as it features the Georgia native’s signature sound versus Brooks’ traditional production.

“What She’s Doing Now” was co-written by Brooks and Pat Alger and spent four weeks atop Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart upon its release. The track is featured on Brooks’ 1991 album, Ropin’ the Wind.

Hunt recently reached the top of the charts with “Hard To Forget” from his new album Southside.
