Scotty McCreery kicked off his headlining Cab in a Solo Tour with back-to-back sold-out shows over the weekend.

Opening Weekend

The country hitmaker brought his headlining trek to Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio, and Blue Gate Performing Arts Center in Shipshewana, Indiana, and played to capacity crowds both nights. Anne Wilson took on the role of direct support in Troy, while Greylan James opened both shows.

These shows certainly set the stage for what’s to come on the tour as several upcoming shows have either sold out or are nearly sold out.

“The only thing better than launching my new ‘Cab in a Solo Tour’ with two sold out shows…is to launch it with three sold out shows!” McCreery excitedly shared in a statement. “Just learned our next show, which is in Durham, is also sold out!  The band, crew, and I have been looking forward to this tour since we announced it last fall. Glad to see the fans are excited about it as well!”

Returning To His Home State

This Thursday, McCreery will return to his home state of North Carolina for his sold-out show at Durham Performing Arts Center. The following shows, scheduled for Atlanta, Ga. and Chattanooga, Tenn., each have low ticket warnings as of Monday morning (Jan. 29).  See a complete list of upcoming tour dates below.

The kick-off to McCreery’s Cab in a Solo Tour comes just days after the debut of his “Cab in a Solo” music video. The clip was directed by filmmaker Jeff Ray from Austin, TX, a frequent collaborator of McCreery, and features clips of the country star in the studio and on stage. The music video also features McCreery’s adorable son, Avery.

“This video showcases both the quieter parts of my life like having my son Avery with me in the studio with Frank, as well as the wilder parts of my life such as performing in front of the biggest live audience of my career,” McCreery previously explained.

Track Continues To Climb The Charts

Cab in a Solo” continues to garner airplay at country radio, and currently sits in the Top 20 on both Mediabase and Billboard charts.

As the song continues to reach new heights, McCreery recently shared the brand new track, “Can’t Pass the Bar” with fans and most recently teaser another brand new song on social media. The latest song teaser for “Love Like This” was set to home videos of McGreery and his family. These tracks will likely appear on the North Carolina native’s upcoming studio album, however, he has yet to reveal further details surrounding the project.
