Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, are back on the wide-open road!

The couple recently embarked on a multi-state road trip and spent quite a bit of time in North Carolina. The superstar documented their adventures in “The Sheriff,” a 2020 Airstream Globetrotter, on social media late Sunday (Jan. 31).

The “Settling Down” singer recapped their trip for fans and couldn’t help but gush over their time in Asheville, North Carolina.

“My first time there and this was night one sleeping under the Wolf moon at the KOA. It was pretty magical. We visited The Biltmore Estate. It was absolutely stunning. You can feel the history and heart that was put into that property as soon as you step foot on the grounds,” she shared. “The details in the architecture and the beautiful conservatory full of blooms took my breath away. I bought a Bon Bon from the confectionary (the birthday cake one ) and ate it on the terrace. I just wanted to say I ate a Bon Bon at the Biltmore. Fancy like.”

Lambert went on to compliment a meal they shared at The Moose Cafe “where they serve warm biscuits the size of my whole face.” She also recommended local Asheville eateries Cúrate and The Red Stag Grill.

“One last thing,” she added, “We have the pups along on this trip and Delta Dawn pulled her back out so I wanna say a big thank you nice people at MedVet Asheville for taking such good care of her. She is doing fine! Needless to say, we will be back very soon Asheville NC!”

Last summer, Lambert and McLoughlin logged over 1,000 miles on a cross-country road trip with their Airstream. Lambert praised McLoughlin’s navigating skills and bragged over their ability to set up camp in under 10 minutes.

The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary earlier this week. They co-star in Miranda Lambert’s “Settling Down” music video, which can be viewed below.
