Country superstar Shania Twain brought an iconic medley of her many hit songs to the American Music Awards stage on Sunday (Nov. 24) for her first AMA performance in 16 years.

Kelsea Ballerini was on hand to introduce the legendary entertainer saying, “Give it up for my queen, Shania Twain!”

Twain began her performance sitting down in a stunning bedazzled fuchsia dress, completing her look with a sparkling, glittered guitar that perfectly matched her ensemble. After performing a medley of hit songs from Post Malone, Twenty One Pilots, Taylor Swift and Drake, Twain then faded into her massive hit “You’re Still The One.”

After her brief medley of cover songs, the superstar burst into an energetic performance of some of her biggest hits, including “Any Man Of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and the explosive “Man! I Feel Like A Woman,” before being greeted with a hug from Taylor Swift at the end of her performance.

Artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Taylor Swift and Post Malone were seen singing along throughout Twain’s performance.

Twain is a five-time American Music Awards winner and is one of the best-selling female country artists of all time. Shania Twain’s “Let’s Go!” Las Vegas Residency begins on December 6 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and will include 23 performances before wrapping up in June of 2020.

The 2019 American Music Awards also featured performances by former country hitmaker Taylor Swift, Thomas Rhett and many more and included appearances by Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown and Dan + Shay. The 2019 American Music Awards aired live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
