Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Marlow is a married woman!

The singer/songwriter wed her high school sweetheart, Jonah Font, outside of Nashville on Friday (Nov. 22), People reports.

The couple exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at The Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington, Tennessee. Mixing maroon with shades of different metals, the couple created a fall and winter theme and even served Thanksgiving dinner to guests after the ceremony.

“Ironically enough, maroon was our high school color!” Marlow told the publication prior to the couple’s big day. “The general decor is very fall and winter-driven. It’s our favorite time of year so it felt perfect to blend the two together.”

Surrounded by seven bridesmaids and six groomsmen, Marlow and Font were married by the pastor of their Nashville-area church and chose to exchange traditional vows instead of writing their own.

“That felt like a lot of pressure,” Marlow admitted. “So we just wrote letters to each other to read privately and then [will do] the traditional vows.”

Marlow donned a “classic and sexy” gown that was custom-designed by Anne Barge for the ceremony and reception.

“I wanted to feel sexy on my wedding day but also have some classic elements like lace and a train,” the bride shared.

After an eight-year courtship, the couple was more than ready to tie the knot.

“We just felt ready to start another chapter in life together,” Marlow said. “It is funny to think [back] to being 15-year-old kids in love and to see how our love has grown over the years. Getting married was always a goal of ours, and this year just felt right.”

The newlyweds will celebrate the beginning of their next chapter with a tropical honeymoon on the Exuma islands of the Bahamas.

“We love the Bahamas and love to snorkel,” Marlow explained. “The water there is so clear and beautiful.”

Maddie & Tae’s Everywhere I’m Goin’ EP is out now.
