Shania Twain Turns Heads In Red Wig, Polka Dot Suit, And Giant Top Hat On GRAMMY Awards Red Carpet
Twain said attending the GRAMMYs is “an opportunity to wear fun clothes.”

Shania Twain is known for her iconic fashion and her 2023 GRAMMYs look will certainly go down in history as one of her most unique red carpet looks to date.
Twain, 57, who is set to present the award for Best Country Album during the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, arrived to “Music’s Biggest Night” sporting a vibrant red wig, a white and black polka dot sequin pantsuit and matching top hat.
While on the red carpet, Twain revealed that her GRAMMYs look was designed by Harris Reed, a 26-year-old British-American fashion designer, who works closely with Harry Styles.
“I just fell in love with the fun of all of this,” the five-time GRAMMY winner shared while chatting with The Recording Academy, before admitting that being a part of the show is “an opportunity to wear fun clothes. I love it!”
She also posed for photos on the red carpet with TikTok star Chris Olsen, Dylan Mulvaney as well as country singer and actress, Rita Wilson.
The country legend was thrilled to attend the all-genre celebration and represent country music.
“This is one of the best talent years in a long time. Such a great collection of artists that I’m so excited to see, perform and hopefully run into backstage get a few hugs in of some of my favorites,” Twain added. “I just love the whole spirit of all of it. It’s wonderful. So it, it’s just a time to celebrate anyway in the world. We’re just all finally out together and so I think we just come out here and on the red carpet and share our best. And our smiles are the best, are the most beautiful part of all of us. I think. So sharing a lot of those.”
Ahead of the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, Twain also discussed her new album, Queen Of Me, which was released on Friday (Feb. 3).
“Well, the album’s called Queen of Me and it’s just all about driving my own bus, being the boss of me and it’s just a lot of fun. It’s what I’m calling my Cheer Me Up album, cheer myself up with fun danceable music,” Twain explained.
The project features 12 tracks, including Twain’s latest single, “Giddy Up!,” plus fan-favorite tracks like “Waking Up Dreaming” and “Last Day Of Summer.”
Shania Twain will embark on the Queen Of Me Tour in support of the project. Launching on April 28, the trek will visit various cities around the world through November 14. Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, Mickey Guyton, Lily Rose, Talk, and Tenille Townes will be joining Twain on select dates throughout the tour.
The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards will feature performances from Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras, Sam Smith, Harry Styles, Chris Stapleton, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and more.
“Music’s Biggest Night” will also include an all-star 50th Anniversary celebration of hip hop, featuring performances by Big Boi, Busta Rhymes with Spliff Star, De La Soul, DJ Drama, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Missy Elliott, Future, GloRilla, Grandmaster Flash, Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio/Ethiopian King, Ice-T, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, The Lox, Method Man, Nelly, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, Rahiem, Rakim, RUN-DMC, Salt-N-Pepa and Spinderella, Scarface, Swizz Beatz, and Too $hort. LL COOL J will be on hand to introduce the segment and give a dedication to hip hop.
Several tributes will take place during the In Memoriam segment at the all-genre ceremony. Kacey Musgraves is set to take the stage to honor the late Loretta Lynn with a cover of Lynn’s signature hit “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” while Sheryl Crow, Mick Fleetwood and Bonnie Raitt are slated to pay homage to late Fleetwood Mac member, Christine McVie, with a performance of McVie’s “Songbird.”
Maverick City Music and Quavo will remember the late Migos rapper, Takeoff, with a special tribute performance of “Without You,” a song that Quavo wrote after his passing.
First Lady Jill Biden, Cardi B, James Corden, Billy Crystal, Viola Davis, Dwayne Johnson, Olivia Rodrigo, and Shania Twain and more are confirmed to present during the ceremony.
Beyoncé leads the pack with nine nominations, including the prestigious Album Of The Year (Renaissance). Following behind Beyoncé are Kendrick Lamar with eight nods, Adele and Brandi Carlile with seven nominations as well as Mary J.
