The Westin Nashville’s L27 Rooftop Lounge has become the destination for some of Music City’s most promising rising stars and new artists to showcase their talents. In February, the lounge will host breakout country artist Taryn Papa for a three-night residency in the French Alps-inspired aprés ski pop-up, Chalet 27.

“I’m so excited to be a part of this series, and it fits perfectly with the music that I’m releasing. My upcoming single is all about love and it’s beautiful in there,” Papa told Country Now of the winter-themed venue. “It just feels like such a cute little romantic space, perfect for Valentine’s Day. I’m so happy they chose me to kick it off.”

The acoustic rooftop series will take place twenty-seven floors above Nashville’s downtown on February 1, February 8, and February 14 for a special Valentine’s Day-themed set. Each performance will feature a variety of The Voice alum’s original songs as well as some of her favorite covers.

“They can expect cover songs that I don’t usually get to do on the road or on Broadway, stuff that I really love that kind of inspired me to start singing. So it’s gonna be really fun,” she shared.

For her final love-themed performance of the residency, Papa revealed that she will be joined by three unannounced male guests for a series of heartfelt duets to celebrate the romantic holiday.

She took to social media to announce the exciting news about her upcoming shows that will offer the chance for country music lovers to get experience the singer’s mesmerizing talent, while also enjoying sweeping city views.

Her caption read, “Big news!!  ✨I’m kicking off 27Live’s Acoustic series with a run of dates in February! Catch my “Chalet Sessions” at the  @Westin  in Nashville, TN. Shows start at 7pm. I’d love to see you there!”

This winter wonderland opened in L27 on November 16 and features chalet-worthy cocktails and bites. The romantic space is a perfect retreat for couples, friends and loved ones to beat the wintery blues. Chalet 27 offers a cozy atmosphere wrapped in faux fur and alpine accents.

In addition to Chalet’s winter menu, seasonally inspired sweets and libations like the Chai-Mocha Panna Cotta and the Hit The Slopes, will also be available.

The country star has already gotten the chance to check out the wintery pop-up and get a taste of the delicious menu items.

“When you walk in, the first minute you get off the elevator, it’s got trees everywhere and fake snow and it’s so beautiful. Then, you walk into the bar area where they’re building the stage for us in this kind of a living room area. There’s a fireplace, a couple of big leather couches, and it’s all pinks and purple lighting.”

She continued, “It’s like a ski chalet. It really looks like you hopped off the slopes and you’re ready to sip on a nice like espresso martini.”

Taryn Papa previously performed at the Westin as part of the 27 Live series in the summer, during which she opened for “Bridesmaids” singer/songwriter, Kylie Morgan.

“That was my introduction to performing there, but I’ve been going to the Westin forever. I love L27, I love the views, it’s such a great place to send people that are visiting Nashville.”

As she returns to the intimate venue, the singer/songwriter is looking forward to connecting with the audience in a way she doesn’t normally get to do in other environments.

“I love intimate settings because I like to talk to everybody. I like to crack jokes and you know, I really get to show my personality more on these types of gigs where I’m not plowing through song after song like on Broadway,” she explained. “I get to sit down and kind of talk about where the inspirations came from, so I think it’s gonna be a really cool experience for fans and for people to come and get to know me a little bit more.”

In 2023, Taryn Papa plans to drop the final installment of an upcoming project, which will follow her previous releases such as “Awake,” “Persuaded,” “Mercy,” and more. As she continues writing in the new year, she revealed her hopes to continue building up the confidence to share the music that means the most to her.

“I think throughout this year, I’d like to continue to be brave enough to share music that maybe not everybody will like. Maybe it’s not as up-tempo as everything on the radio, but that’s okay. Just being brave to be me and realizing who I am as a person and as an artist is special and I don’t need to reinvent the wheel.”

Chalet 27 is 21+ and reservations are encouraged. Find more information HERE.
