Jake Hoot is now a father of two!

On Sunday (July 31), the season 17 winner of NBC’s The Voice took to social media to announce the exciting news that he and his wife Brittney have welcomed their first child together.

“Well we did a thang last week! World, meet little Miss Madilyn Bri. We couldn’t be more in love 😍,” Hoot captioned the adorable photo, alongside the hashtags #girldad #ladiesman #mybaby #ilovemygirls.

The singer/songwriter welcomed a baby girl, named Madilyn Bri Hoot, into the world one week ago on Sunday, July 24.

Madilyn made her grand entrance into the world at 3:30 am,  weighing 7 lb, 4 oz and measuring 18 ¾ long upon arrival.

Hoot’s wife Brittney Nicole Hoot also shared the news about their new bundle of joy on Instagram.

“One week ago today, I experienced the biggest miracle of my life! We welcomed our ‘Little Feet’ into the world, and could not be more in love with her!” Brittney wrote alongside a photo of herself with her husband and their new baby girl.

Brittney continued, “She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever known. I never knew that my capacity to love someone could become so deep, and this profound. Everyone meet our little angel. She’s more than we ever dreamt of. We love you so much our little angel and can’t believe we get to love you forever!”

Madilyn Bri Hoot joins sister Macy, Jake’s daughter from a previous relationship.

The Tennessee native first revealed that he and his wife were expecting a child in March via an Instagram video.

In the clip, Hoot’s daughter, Macy and his wife held up signs to announce the news with fans.

“Life was sweet, you made it sweeter. If life was complete you made it completer. We didn’t know just how much we needed you, Baby Hoot, comin’ soon,” Hoot, who was seated on the edge of the couple’s bed, sang in the clip as the lyrics are written on the signs that were held up by Brittney and Macy.

Hoot and his wife Brittney celebrated their 1-year wedding anniversary in March of 2022 with the release of a brand-new duet, “Wherever Time Goes.”

The couple tied the knot during an elegant, rustic farm wedding on March 7, 2021, at the majestic country-styled Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Hoot and Brittney initially met as wedding singers at their best friend’s wedding about eight years ago, where they sang “When God Made You” together during the first dance. The couple got engaged on September 20, 2020, during a trip to Brittney’s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Hoot surprised his now wife, by getting down on a bended knee in front of her closest family and his mother, Stacey.

The beloved country couple have shared several covers together and fans have grown to adore their relationship.

Hoot’s wife Brittney is a Labor and Delivery Nurse, the founder and director of international missions for Zeal Global at Zeal Church, as well as the Founder and Director of the nonprofit, The Radiant Initiative.
