This All-Star Performance of ‘Girl Crush’ Was a Highlight of the 2019 CMA Awards

The 53rd Annual CMA Awards was a true celebration of women in country music. The theme began with the epic opening number and continued throughout the show.

One of the many highlights of the three-hour telecast was an all-star performance of Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” which was beautifully executed by Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsey Ell, Runway June, Maddie & Tae, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde and Little Big Town themselves.

The performance was heartfelt, completely sincere and simply put, amazing.

The 53rd Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie Underwood with special guests Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, took place on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The star-studded show aired live on ABC.
