In the 33-second video, Cooke and Evans reveal what they call common items such as soda, pacifier, herb, flip-flop, and parking lot.
The artists find it comical as Cooke, who hails from Florida, and Evans, a native of Australia, reveal their different pronunciations and words for certain items.
For example, Cooke refers to a flip flop as a “flip flop” while Evans calls it a “thong.”
“No that’s underwear, she tells him,” with a laugh.
He replies, “We say g-string.”
While many shared their excitement for the tour, others questioned if they were dating. Cooke quickly shut down the speculation in the comments.
“Dang guys, these comments – we’re just touring together. Easyyy,” Cooke commented in response to the fans.
On Instagram, one user wrote, “soft launch.” Cooke immediately wrote back with “haha absolutely not just touring together.” Evans later said, “say it louder for the people in the back haha.”
