It sure feels good to be “Country Again” for Thomas Rhett!
The superstar is celebrating his 18th No.1 single as his latest release tops both the Billboard Country and Mediabase/Country Aircheck Charts this week.
The news comes after “Country Again” earned the top spot at Canadian Country Radio for two consecutive weeks.
“This song is so special to me, because every line really is autobiographical,” Rhett shared in a statement. “But it’s also a song about centering yourself and reconnecting with the things that are truly important to you; which is different for all of us. Being able to share this song with fans each night on the road finally and seeing how it’s resonating with them is something I will never take for granted.”

Not only does this mark the current CMA Awards Male Vocalist of the Year nominee’s 18th chart-topper, it’s also his 12th consecutive No. 1 hit — the longest current active streak in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart).
The soon-to-be father of four celebrated in true girl dad style – by watching Disney’s Moana with his daughter Lennon.

“I just wanted to say thank you very much for my 18th number one single at country radio,” Rhett shared in a video message on Instagram. “’Country Again’ is the number one song in the country this week, right?! And me and Lennon are celebrating by watching Moana, so thank you to everyone. Thank you, country radio, to everyone whose ever streamed this song or downloaded it or told a friend about it. One of my favorites. I wrote this in my basement in the dead center of 2020 and never imagined that it would be the number one song in the country. So, thank y’all. Thank you, thank you. Thank you for everything, for all the support. Can’t wait to see you on the road this weekend…”
“Country Again” is the title track off Rhett’s latest album, Country Again: Side A.
Rhett is currently in the midst of his Center Point Road Tour, which runs through October.
