Tim McGraw penned a heartfelt birthday message to his wife and “best friend” Faith Hill in honor of her 56th birthday on Thursday (Sept. 21).

Alongside a photo of Faith Hill from the set of her “American Heart” music video, McGraw wrote, “Happy birthday to the love of my life, my partner and my best friend. You light up every room you walk into/ And you light up my heart and soul/ I love you more than I could ever express in a million years/ This is your day my love!!!!♥️”

Birthday Message

Tim McGraw’s sweet message garnered an outpouring of love for Hill in the comments section, including two of their daughters.

Audrey McGraw wrote, “The most beautiful. Inside and outside,” while Maggie jokingly shared, “Ugh pls adopt me.”

ACM Honors

Hill was recently by McGraw’s side as he was honored with the prestigious ACM Icon Award during the 2023 ACM Honors ceremony. During his acceptance speech, the “7500 OBO” singer broke down in tears as he thanked everyone who has supported him through the years, most notably his wife.

McGraw took a moment to gush over his wife, Faith Hill, who was watching from the audience.

Touching Speech

“My world changed the day I met Faith,” McGraw, 56, said. “You’re my partner in life, you’re my partner musically, and help the rest of me. You stood by me with all the ups and downs, life, and a career in music and throw away. You simply tell me how it is when I can’t see the light. I would not be where I am today without you and your grace. I love you unconditionally.”

The crowd continued to cheer him on as tears streamed down his face. He proceeded to convey his gratitude and admiration for his daughters, with two of them present in the audience.

Tributes Daughters

“I want to say thank you to my daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Aubrey. It’s not lost on me in the least that growing up in a household where mom and dad are artists, created this whole set of challenges… But I’m so proud of the women you’ve become… Thank you for who you are, and I love you so much.”

The beloved country couple will soon celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary on October 6. McGraw and Hill exchanged vows during a surprise wedding at McGraw’s aunt’s house in Rayville, Louisiana. Unsuspecting guests arrived under the impression that they would be attending a softball game, however, they were surprised to learn that it was in fact their wedding.

Latest Album

McGraw’s love for Hill is also highlighted on his latest album, Standing Room Only, which features “Her,” a song that is a nod to his wife.

“Her faith is strong and man, her smile’s / Got blue sky right behind it,” McGraw sings on the track. “If there’s a bright side, then she’ll find it / Sometimes I wish that I could be a little less like me / A little more like her.”

While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, McGraw shared Hill’s authentic reaction to the tune. “She loves it!” he explained. “She makes me play it all the time… I’ve had enough of it, I don’t wanna hear it, [but] she loves it! She goes, ‘This is about me right?’ I go, ‘Yeah, of course! Of course! You’re the her.’”

2024 Tour

Next year, McGraw will embark on the 2024 Standing Room Only Tour in support of the project.

“I always want to deliver the best possible concert I can for the fans,” said McGraw. “We’ve got some really special plans to make this the biggest and the best tour we’ve ever done.”

Kicking off on March 14, the tour will feature special guest Carly Pearce and will visit major cities around the U.S. through June 27.
