Travis Denning made an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show this morning, ahead of the release of his Beer’s Better Cold EP, which drops on Friday (May 15).
The EP release comes as his current single, “After a Few,” reaches the Top 5 at country radio. It’s something the Georgia native is extremely proud of.
“It’s been just a crazy, crazy climb up there, it’s just unbelievable that it is Top 5, single digits man,” he told host Bobby Bones. “It’s awesome.”
Denning went on to chat with Bones about his six-song project and share his three favorite beers in light of the EP’s title.
“I’d say Miller Lite, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and then Macon Progress, which is a beer from Macon, Georgia, just north of my hometown of Warner Robbins, Georgia,” he revealed.
Bones then joked with the singer/songwriter about his love for another alcoholic beverage.
“I love how you talk manly and stuff but I saw you drinking White Claw mango flavor on your Insta story…so defend yourself,” the multi-media personality joked.
“I don’t think I’ve gotta defend my White Claw drink,” he said with a laugh. “I like White Claws and I had this conversation yesterday with a good friend and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry that for whatever reason, you can’t enjoy a refreshing mango White Claw with a steak, cause I can and it was delicious!”
