Ty Myers has unveiled plans to release his sophomore album, Heavy On The Soul, just days after making his debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 18-year-old breakout star announced that the 17-track project will arrive on March 27 and revealed both the full digital tracklist and a separate tracklist for the vinyl edition (see below for details).

Recorded at Alabama’s legendary FAME Recording Studios, the historic Muscle Shoals facility known for producing iconic records from music legends such as Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding, some of Myers’ key inspirations. Heavy On The Soul serves as the follow-up to his GOLD-certified 2025 debut LP, The Select. The new album further showcases Myers’ evolving artistry and creative growth.

With Brandon Hood returning as producer following The Select, Heavy On The Soul boasts a stellar lineup of top-tier session players, including acclaimed guitarist Tom Bukovac (Glen Campbell, Vince Gill) and steel guitarist Bruce Bouton (George Strait, Emmylou Harris).

In addition, Myers co-wrote 11 of the album’s 17 tracks and is set to unveil another taste of the album with the premiere of his solo-written single, “Message to You,” this Friday.

So far, he has shared four tracks from the project, including “Leaving Carolina,” which fuses cinematic Country with gritty Southern soul; “Through a Screen,” a candid look at the strange realities of online dating; “Come On Over, Baby,” a Blues-leaning anthem of late-night longing; and “Two Trains (feat. Marcus King),” a guitar-driven spin on the classic Little Feat song.

With his debut album arriving less than a year ago, Myers has quickly proven himself to be a powerful force as an entertainer, songwriter, and artist, selling out his 73-date The Select Tour.

Fans recently got another glimpse of his undeniable talent during his Tonight Show debut, where he delivered a soul-stirring performance of The Select’s Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Thought It Was Love.”
