As the son of John Michael Montgomery and the nephew of Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery, you could say country music runs in Walker Montgomery’s blood. The up-and-coming artist has been around country music his entire life and after learning from some of the greats, he’s embarking on a journey all his own.

After turning heads with “Like My Daddy Done It,” a song inspired by his childhood, Montgomery just released a brand new single, “Saving For A Rainy Night.” The sultry song was co-written by Dallas Davidson, Ashley Gorley and Kyle Fishman and finds Montgomery and his lover getting cozy at home together on a rainy night.

“I just want to hold you all night long / I just wanna turn out all the lights and turn you on / Baby, you don’t even know how badly I’m craving your body / I been waitin’ and I’m tryin’ to be patient / I’ve got all this love that I’ve been saving / Saving for a rainy night / Saving for a night like tonight,” he croons throughout the chorus.
