What a way to ring in the new year — Brooks & Dunn enlisted a few fellow country stars to sing one of their most iconic songs during New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash on Friday (Dec. 31).

Joined by Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker, the award-winning country duo, comprised of Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks, performed their chart-topping debut single, “Brand New Man,” live from Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar.

Brooks & Dunn, Aldean and Rucker traded verses throughout the popular tune as they performed it for the live audience in Downtown Nashville.

Co-written by Kix Brooks, Don Cook and Ronnie Dunn, “Brand New Man” was the duo’s debut single and quickly became their first No. 1 single on the country charts.

Brooks & Dunn re-recorded the popular tune with fellow country superstar Luke Combs for their Reboot album in 2019.

The inaugural New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash also featured performances from Fisk Jubilee Singers, Lady A, Ingrid Andress, BRELAND, King Calaway, Riley Green, Chris Janson, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell and more.

The five-hour celebration also included once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, performances of chart-topping hits and covers of some of the most iconic songs in country music.

Co-hosted by Radio and TV personality Bobby Bones and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith, the star-studded New Year’s Eve special aired live from Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, December 31 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT, 11:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT), on CBS Television Network.

The show was also available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
