Brothers Osborne, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley teamed up for an explosive performance of an Allman Brothers Band classic on Wednesday evening (July 28) in Nashville.

The trio of superstars joined together for a performance of “Midnight Rider” by The Allman Brothers Band, during the second night of the star-studded CMA Summer Jam at Ascend Amphitheater in Downtown Nashville. “Midnight Rider” is the second single from The Allman Brothers Band’s second studio album, Idlewild South (1970), which was released via Capricorn Records.

Check out video of their collaborative performance below.

CMA Summer Jam also featured performances from Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Mickey Guyton, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Cole Swindell, Lainey Wilson, Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Luke Combs, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi and more.

The event featured several other star-studded collaborations, including Shelton joining forces with his wife, Gwen Stefani, for their “Happy Anywhere” duet, Underwood teaming up with Dwight Yoakam for an epic two-song performance. Additionally, the event found Bryan and Swindell celebrating the chart-topping success of Swindell’s latest single, “Single Saturday Night,” with an on-stage collab

The shows were taped for a TV special set to air on ABC at a later date.

A portion of ticket sale net proceeds will benefit the CMA Foundation. Since its inception in 2011, the CMA Foundation has been committed to improving and sustaining music programs throughout the U.S. so all students have equitable opportunity to participate in a high-quality music education.
