Charlie Worsham has teamed up with several country music stars, including Kip Moore on his upcoming collaborative Compadres EP.
Worsham and Moore join forces on a boisterous, carefree, party song titled “Kiss Like You Dance.” Co-written by Jon Nite, Andre DeRoberts, and Andy Albert, the latest Compadres release delivers a variety of imagery and symbolism.
“I bet you kiss like you dance / I bet you get out of hand / In the middle of a crowd downtown / Don’t care if no one’s watchin’ / I bet you rock like you roll / Slide them blue cases too close / How about you let me let you / I bet you kiss like you dance / hangin’ every bit of that crazy high,” the pair sing on the chorus.
See The Music Video
In the recently released official music video for “Kiss Like You Dance,” Worsham and Moore take their listeners along for the ride on a rowdy night out in East Nashville. They exploit their wild side, raise their glasses, and strum their guitars as the song comes to life in the brand-new video.
“I’ve never had more fun making a music video than I did with my buddy Kip Moore for ‘Kiss Like You Dance,” Worsham said in a press release. “It’s even cooler to me that we shot the whole thing in East Nashville. Emma Golden and her crew knocked it out of the park, and I think fans will get a kick out of a very special cameo toward the end of the video. And hey, if y’all like it have as much as I do, send the video to a friend you’d like to take to the honkytonks!”
Follows The Release Of His Luke Combs Collab
“Kiss Like You Dance” is one of five tracks on the highly anticipated Compadres EP. It is the upbeat, flirtatious counterpart to the previous release “How I Learned To Pray,” which features Luke Combs.
Produced by Jaren Johnston, the Compadres EP, will be released on Friday, October 13 and it will include guest vocals from Dierks Bentley, Elle King, and Lainey Wilson.
“The whole idea behind Compadres is to celebrate the friendships I’ve made through music over the past decade,” Worsham said in a statement. “I think fans will be able to hear how much fun we had making this project, and I think they’ll also hear how each of these songs tells a different part of my story. I’ve gotta give a shout-out to my Compadre-in-Chief, Jaren Johnston, for producing this project with me and pushing me to sing and play with more ferocity than ever before.”
Compadres is Worsham’s second EP and it is an introduction to the next chapter of a decade-long story.
