Country hitmakers Clay Walker and Tracy Lawrence surprised rising star Alexandra Kay during her latest “coffee covers” video and joined her to sing Lawrence’s 2003 hit, “Paint Me A Birmingham.”
Kay, who has become known for her “coffee covers” segment on social media where she sings covers of country songs while making her morning coffee, opens the clip and within seconds Lawrence is seen walking up behind her singing the song.
With a shocked look on her face, Kay continues making her coffee as Walker enters the frame from the other side. With smiles on their faces, they all finish singing the song in unison.

Kay is currently on tour with Clay Walker and Tracy Lawrence as they headline their co-headlining tour this spring.
“These are two artists who had a huge influence on me and to be able go out and share a stage with them is an honor,” Kay previously shared of the opportunity to share the stage with the country icons.
Alexandra Kay is a country artist to watch as she has garnered millions of social media followers over the past two years and is now the most-followed solo female artist on TikTok.
In a few weeks, the Illinois native will join country superstar Tim McGraw on his 2022 Tour with Russell Dickerson and Brandon Davis.
“This entire year has felt like a dream come true. I have always kept my goals at the forefront of my mind during this ten-year grind,” she recently shared. “I really feel like doing so and staying focused especially during the times when I’ve felt completely defeated is the reason I’m getting to experience so many highs this year. Getting the chance to tour with Tim McGraw is a dream of a lifetime.”
