Rising country star Alana Springsteen released her newest track, “Me Myself and Why” – giving fans the first taste of new music since the release of her History of Breaking Up (Part One) EP.
The uptempo smash finds the singer/songwriter questioning why she gave an ex another chance. Springsteen shares this vulnerable track with fans in hopes her audience will relate to the lyrics.

Alana shares, “as a songwriter, I write what I know, and this past year definitely brought its share of heartbreak. ‘Me Myself and Why’ is about that heart-versus-head moment after a breakup when you know you need to walk away but you falter, even though this person has given you every reason to leave and not look back. It’s full of passion, conflict, angst, pain, and anger – at myself and at him. I found myself going back-and-forth between that range of emotions a lot when I was in the thick of it in my own life, and I’m so proud that we were able to make the final track mirror the way I felt.”

The catchy track was written by Springsteen, Josh Jenkins, and Pete Good. Click above to listen.
Since the release of her EP, Alana has been opening for Mitchell Tenpenny on his 2 Us It Did Tour. With only two shows left, fans are highly anticipating new music and more tour dates from the songstress.
On Thursday, March 10th, she will be hosting a writer’s round with friends, Ryan Beaver, Emily Falvey, Levi Hummon, Matt McGinn, Faren Rachels, and Brandon Ratcliff, at The Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway in Nashville, TN.
